Find the letter formation sheet in pack 3 with capital letters on . Can you sing the song and point to each letter ?
Capital letters are used at the start of a sentence and at the start of someone's name . They are also used at the start of a name of a place . For example Grewelthorpe .
Each letter of the alphabet has a name as well as the sound it makes . The alphabet song teaches us the names of the letters .The video shows you capital letters and also lower case letters ( the letters we have learnt to recognise )
Have a go at writing the letters in the top row of the sheet .
Look through your sound book .Complete the sheet in pack 3 . Fill in the letters to spell the words . The sheet has a picture of a fish , a duck, a ring etc with lines under each one . Sound talk the words first .
