English Reception
Daily sound book and tricky words.
Ladder letters formation sheet .
Can you draw Stick man and write ;
Stick man and the dog .
Choose 3 different tricky words and try spelling them like the last time . Remember look, cover, write, check .

Talk about some of the different places Stick Man finds himself in the story .

If you have a copy of the book you can talk about the rhyming words in it . For example jog and dog .
Maths Reception
We are going to do some measuring using handspans. You have to spread your fingers out and keep crossing your hands over to count the handspans to measure something .
Choose something to measure, for example the length of a sofa ,a toybox , a cereal box , your brother or sister lying down .
You could find a way to record your measuring - perhaps write a list and write the number of handspans next to each item ?
Talk which was the longest /shortest thing you measured .Can you work out the difference between 2 things you measured ?? (that's a tricky one ! )

Which is the longest /shortest stick ?
Can you choose 3 and put them in order ?
Can you count the sticks?
Fun Activity
Make a Stick Man ( like in the video )
