YouTube or hopefully follow the link to watch me read it.
Maths Reception
Look in your new Home School book and complete the shape hunt.
Find the house made of shapes in your maths pack. Colour in your house choosing a different colour for each shape. e.g. all triangles are blue.
How many of each shape can you count?
Maths Nursery and Reception
Can you make a sandwich for your lunch? Can you cut it into 2 or 4 triangles? How would you cut it to make rectangles or squares?
Nursery
Go on a shape hunt at home indoors and outdoors. Can you find any circles, rectangles, squares and triangles?
Can you use the words: curved, straight, corner, side?
Can you set the table for tea or lunch?
English Reception
In your Jelly and Bean handwriting book complete the page in Book 1 Activity 2. Can you also write 'I am soft. I am a pet.' Can you spell the words yourself?
Choose three tricky words. Look at each word in turn and have a go at writing the word. Check to see if you have got it right - do you need another try?
English Nursery
Talk to somebody or phone somebody (perhaps a grandparent). Describe how you made your sandwich. Think carefully about every step. What did you do first? Don't miss anything out!
Activity for Reception and Nursery
Ask a grown up for sheets and blankets. Can you build a den. What will you do in your den? Ask a grown up to take a photo and if they would like to they can send it to me via admin@gfschools.co.uk
