Autumn
RHebblewhite and NTodd - 23 Oct 2019
Over the last week in Class One, we have been busy enjoying Autumn! In Maths we have been talking about 2D shapes and we have had a lot of fun printing and making patterns with our Harvest fruit and vegetables. All week we have been 'Shape Invesetigators', busy spotting all the places in and around school where our 2D shapes are hiding! We have been teaching our Friend Fred the Ted all about shapes and we've been playing games to learn about what makes each shape 'special'.
Also, in Forest School with Mrs Todd, Class One made the most of the dry weather and went outside to make and decorate some beautiful Willow Crowns, which your children will have brought home recently.
The children have all worked really hard in their first half-term and both myself and Mrs Todd are extremely impressed by their fantastic effort and enthusiasm. We have thoroughly enjoyed teaching them and we will be excited to return after half-term, when we will begin plans for our Christmas Nativity!! (Sorry to mention Christmas this side of November!).
