Welcome Back, Class One!

It has been lovely to welcome back our new Reception children into Class One and our Nursery children, both old and new! We hope that you all had a lovely Summer and no doubt you are ready to return your children to school, after the long break!!
This week, you will have received a 'Newsletter' including important and useful information about our class, aswell as details about our informal Phonics Chat,
next Wednesday (11th September) at 2.45pm. If you have any quesetions regarding this meeting, please feel free to catch Nicola or I at the beginning or end of the school day, or contact the school office.
During our first week back, we have all had fun meeting up and playing with our friends again. The children in Reception are excited to be taking home their very first reading book, to share with you at home this week - we look forward to sharing your comments on your child's reading in their yellow record book.
We have all had an fantastic first week back and Mrs Todd and I are very much looking forward to teaching your children, in this next exciting chapter in their school life!!
