Class 3 Trip to Fountains Abbey
Our topic this term is 'What would it have been like to live at Fountains Abbey?' In order to enrich this topic and provide the children with the opportunity to link their classroom learning to real life we have arranged a trip to Fountains Abbey.
The trip will take place on Monday 20th June 2022 and will take place within the school day. The children will travel to Fountain's Abbey by coach and will be supervised by school staff. We are asking for a donation of £8 per pupil for the trip to cover the cost of transport and entry to the site. Please could this be paid on Parent Pay by Friday 17th June.
The children will need to wear school uniform and should wear suitable footwear and dress appropriately for the weather (coats/ sunhats/ suncream).
The children will require a packed lunch for the day. If you would like a school packed lunch (tuna/ cheese/ ham sandwich) please let us know asap, otherwise we will presume you are supplying one.
The consent form for the trip is attached. We would appreciate it if these could be returned by Wednesday 15th June.
