UK Parliment -Campaign for Change - KS2

Parliament’s Senior Education & Engagement Outreach Officer for Yorkshire & Humberside Rachel Dodgson, will be visiting the KS2 children on Wednesday 2nd March. The visits aim is to help young people develop their understanding of democracy and Parliament, and support schools in the delivery of aspects of the National Curriculum including SMSC, PSHE, Citizenship and other related subjects.
Class 4 will then take part in a workshop called 'Campaign for Change' , the students will gain knowledge and skills in how to campaign, looking at changes from historical campaigns and then designing their own campaign around a current issue. This will help the us in our whole-school project to develop ways to reduce our carbon footprint and be courageous advocates.
