Our Celebration Certificates

12 Jun 2024

Over the course of the last few weeks as a community, we have been working on the new awards given out in school.

We needed to re-design the way that we reward children in school, due to the launch of our new vision:

'Discover, grow and make a difference: our path to a brighter world,' which has grown from John 10 v 10,
I have come that they may have life and have it to the full'.

We are excited to share with you that we now have 3 different awards:

The Vision Award
 - this is a certificate which is given out to one child per class each week. They are given to someone who has really demonstrated that they have lived out our school vision that week.

The Learning Award
 - this is a certificate which is given out to a maximum of 5 children in our school each week.
These are for demonstrating one or more of our learning behaviours (respect, responsibility, effort and aspiration) across the week.

The White Ribbon Award - this is a white ribbon which is an exceptional award which won't be given out every week. It is for an individual who has shone in everything they have done, this would be through their learning, attitude and behaviour. There won't be many of these given out, but when they are given, they will be very special.

The children have helped to design the certificates, and there are a few different designs to choose from. These awards will be given out on a Friday in our Celebration Collective Worship when we celebrate all the wonderful things our children have done during the week.

We look forward to sharing some of the winners with you.
