Fountains Fun Run

Come and take part in the Fountains FUN RUN which is a 2km fun race at 10am on Sunday 18th July. It is perfect for all the family and a fantastic way for children and their families to take part in a local sporting challenge in beautiful countryside.
Entry is £5. Children under 6 in the Fun Run must be accompanied by an adult, but the adult would not need to register or pay. Parents running with children over 6, or adults running alone, must register and pay £5.
All proceeds will be shared equally between Fountains and Grewelthorpe CE Primary Schools. This is our big fundraiser of the year so please spread the word and come along and have some fun!
The course is 2km on traffic free roads and fields, starting and finishing in the community park in Grantley village. Everyone who takes part receives a medal, and the first three across the line will win a voucher for Brymor ice cream parlour!
Attached to this email is a sponsorship form for any children who would like to be sponsored. Sponsorship is entirely optional, but offers another way for friends and relatives to support the event. It can also help motivate and reward the children for their efforts taking part in this sporting challenge and enables the children to be involved in the important task of raising vital funds for their school. Please collect your sponsorship money and bring in to school by Wednesday 21st July.
