Covid Guidance update

Critical workers

Parents whose work is critical to the coronavirus (COVID-19) and EU transition response include those who work in health and social care and in other key sectors outlined in the guidance. Children with at least one parent or carer who is a critical worker can go to school or college if required, but parents and carers should keep their children at home if they can.

We appreciate that this is a very difficult situation for you all. However rates in the area are rising and numbers attending school are considerably higher than the previous lockdown. To ensure we keep the risks as low as we can for the children and staff in school, you should now only be sending your children to school if there is not a parent/carer who can safely look after the children at home because they are out at work.
