Class 2 - Fossils and Mary Anning
22 Sep 2023
Continuing on with our History topic we got to look closely at some real fossils and found out that someone who studies fossils is called a palaeontologist. The first female palaeontologist was Mary Anning!
We learnt how to form our first joined up letter this week! We worked really well with our partners to make sure that our letter 'c' started on the bottom line and ended with a flick.
In Maths we have been exploring numbers and how they can be represented in different ways. The year 2s have also spotted that 2-digit numbers are made up of 10s and 1s.
Have a great weekend and see you next week
