Printing!
This week has been all about printing! At first we thought we were going to use the printer by the staff room but then we started learning about the different printing techniques in art.
We all got a turn to explore stenciling, mono printing, relief printing and blcok printing.
We found out about a famous artist called Andy Warhol and how he used screen printing and repeating images to make his famous art work of Marilyn Monroe.
Then we started to design our own Christmas wrapping paper thinking of an image that we could repeat. It was fun making our printing blocks from our designs.
