We have been using bricks, number tracks and ten frames to show each other how to count forwards, backwards and then find one more or one less.
Sometimes we forget which way round the numbers go so we have been practicing our number formation. Look at our super pencil holds!
The Year 2s have been investigating number lines. We made number lines counting in ones to 10, then counting in tens to 100! We also had numberlines going vertically like a thermometer.
Reading
It is lots of fun taking a journey into another world with a book! Several members of the class received their Summer Reading Certificates from Ripon Library in Friday's Collective Worship.
