An imaginary line around the earth

What is that line on our globe?
 

 We found out that there is an imaginary line around the middle of the earth called the Equator! 










I wonder if the average temperature is the same everywhere in the world?
 

 
 
 
 Put all the continents back on the map. Wow! It is hotter along the equator and gets gradually cooler as you go north or south.


Some of us were so inspired we made our own world weather maps.
 

 
Gymnastics
Look what we can do! It takes a lot of core strength and balance.
 

 
English
We have been reading another fantasy story by Alexis Deacon called "Beegu". It was fun sequencing the events, retelling the story and then listening to what we had all written.

Maths
