Log onto Teams and click on the Assignments tab. You will see an assignment called 'Morning Work 3rd February'. Click on the assignment and complete the questions.

Click on the video below to find out how to correctly form our next caterpillar letter.





Can I correctly form the joined up letter 'g'.
Y1 - Practice the letter 'g' on the second page of your handwriting booklet that says 'Caterpillar letters'. Look carefully because there 2 lines for the letter 'g'.  If there is extra space on the lines you could have a go without the dots. 

Y2 - Practice joining the letter 'g'. Copy the following sentence into your home school book.

What question would you ask the Cat in the Hat about the desert?
Can you remember what you need at the end of a question? A question mark '?' of course.


Can I write a question for the Cat in the Hat?
If you could meet the Cat in the Hat what questions would you ask him about this book.
Y1 - Write one or more questions for the Cat in the Hat. 
Y2 - tell the Cat in the Hat what you think about the book and why. Maybe you could tell him what your favourite part was. Make sure you include a question.


Everyone - Remeber to write the short date in the margin.

Take a photo of what you have written today and send it to me on your private channel in Teams (or email).

Log onto Phonics Play at https://www.phonicsplay.co.uk/ Select 'Resources then Phase 5 from the menu bar at the top of the page. Now scroll down past 'Phase 5a'  until you get to 'Phase 5b Interactive Resources. 
 

 

Choose the game 'Cheeky Chimps', click on 'Start' then choose 'u'.

Practice this weeks spellings. Remember to 'Look at the word. Say it out loud. Cover it up. Write it. Check that what you have written is the same as the original.


Year 2
Click on the link https://www.spellingplay.co.uk/planning-and-resources/year-2/more-suffixes/verb-vikings  You need to click on 'Start', then 'Go to Menu' , then 'Games'. Practice adding suffixes to verbs. You can choose any of the games.
