Can I form all of my letters correctly?
What would you do to help Duck if you were one of the animals? Write one or more sentences to tell me.
This week we are focusing on handwriting so you can write fewer sentences but think carefully about how you are forming your letters.
1) Have you started all of your capital letters at the top?
2) Can I tell the difference between your short letters and tall letters?
3) Do all the tails on letters go down below the line (descenders)?

Can I add repeated groups
Complete the next 2 pages in your Multiplication booklet. They have the numbers 85 and 86 at the bottom.
Take a photo of your work and send it to me on your private channel in Teams (or email).
Challenge: Have a go at writing your own repeated addition sentences on the next page in your booklet. The number at the bottom of the page is 87.

Can I represent the 2 times table using pictures or objects?
Make 12 dot cards. Cut an A4 piece of paper/card into 12 and draw 2 dots on each rectangle.
Use the dot cards to show and say the 2 times table. Can you use multibase?
How would you use dot cards or bricks or other objects to show 6 x 2? Send me a photo.

Copy your spellings into your home school book. Copy each word onto a new line so that you can practice them each day using the 'Look, say, cover, write, check method.

Y2s this week we learning about adding the suffixes 'er', 'ed' and 'est' to words ending in 'y'. What do you notice? Do the spellings we were practicing last week help? How?
