Thank you all for being so generous when you opted to come in non-uniform on Wednesday. The school collected a very impressive amount of food for others in the community. By doing this act of kindness we are supporting charitable work for those who need it locally, linking with the new vision for our school.
The volunteers at the Community House in Ripon were extremely grateful for the donations – even the giant marrow that they said they may incorporate into a soup! They thanked each and every one of you for the donations. The charity committee hopes to undertake even more events for local causes in the coming year with an update on our next event hopefully coming soon.
Well done and thank you again to all the generous families at Grewelthorpe School.
