Class 3 - Visit to Raygill Farm - Wednesday 16th October

Class 3 will be attending Raygill Farm, Nidderdale, in order to deepen their knowledge and understanding of the use of archaeology to look at our past.
The Raygill Farm Education Project is a local archaeology group in Nidderdale.
It is based around a day’s field trip to an Iron Age ‘farm’ site in Nidderdale above Gouthwaite Reservoir. The children and staff will be required to use various skills and investigative techniques to help them make sense of how our local prehistoric ancestors lived and farmed in the past. .
The children will leave school at 9am and arrive back at 3pm.
Children will require a packed lunch, if you wish to order a school packed lunch, please place your orders by Monday 7th October.
Please ensure that your child has a waterproof coat and wears appropriate footwear for this trip.
This is a free of charge trip.
