Coronation Celebration Thursday 4th of May

To celebrate the Coronation of King Charles III we would like to invite all members of the Grewelthorpe Community to the school.
This will take place on Thursday, 4th of May at 2pm
Tea and cake will be served, all the children will sing some songs and Class 1 will take part in a Coronation Crown parade.
The children are encouraged to come to school in red, white and blue for this celebratory day.
We would be very grateful if you could help with the following:
- Any contributions of cakes or baked goods would be most appreciated-please bring to school on the morning of the 4th
- We would like to run a 'Jarbola Stall' on the day. A Jarbola is run like a tombola but with jars of small, child-friendly prizes (some ideas would be hair accessories, rubbers, sweets, bouncy balls or stationery). The jars could even be decorated. We are hoping that every child will donate a jar to be sold at our Jarbola. Please bring filled jars to the school office before the 2nd of May.
All parents and members of the community are most welcome to join us for this special afternoon.
