School Council Fundraiser
28 Nov 2022
Dear parents,
The school council have decided that they’d like to use next week’s Christmas jumper day (on the 8th December) as an opportunity to raise funds for the events/resources they want to offer in school. As school council, it is their job to seek out improvements based on their peers’ opinions and implement them, with the extra challenge of raising the funds needed to do so.
The council would like to hold a Christmas fayre at lunchtime and have created some games and activities, which they’ll set up on stalls, for the children to visit during their lunch break. All games and activities are 50p per play and prizes can be won. Their ideas for the Christmas-themed stalls are:
- Christmas bingo (winner gets a prize)
- Elf splat (challenge to knock stacked cups over with a ball)
- Pick a present (a selection of wrapped presents with differing treats inside)
- Decorating gingerbread men (2 biscuits)
- Guess the reindeer name (the 8 winning names will receive a chocolate reindeer)
- Pin the nose on the reindeer
If your child would like to join in with some of the games going on that day, we ask that you bring in some change and no more than £5 please.
We thank you for your support.
