Pupil Voice Day

On Thursday, we held the second Pupil Voice day of the year. It was a very popular day with both the staff and the children.
We began the day by dividing into our four colour groups. The children and staff worked in their groups to agree on a team name, a logo and a motto.
The four team names are: the Lucky Charms, Blue Broncos, Lightning Bolts and The Red Dynamites.

We are now going to get some t-shirts and banners made for each group, so watch this space!
Throughout the course of the day, all of our Pupil Voice committees had the opportunity to have a meeting to plan their next activities or initiatives. The children have got some great ideas, and some of them will be happening very soon!
During the day, the children also had the opportunity to make and/or decorate Christmas decorations. The children really enjoyed this activity and did their absolute best as you might find some of finished products on sale at the Christmas Fair.
Later on in the day, we enjoyed some shared reading. The children are all paired or grouped up, and the groups have a mixture of older and younger children in. It is so lovely to see them all sharing books together.
