Our First Federation Football Fixtures

Tonight after school, our two football teams travelled to Fountains so that we could play the first ever Federation football matches against them.
We had two teams that were made up of any children in Key Stage 2 who wanted to (and were available to) play.

Considering the children hadn't played together before in this context, they all did so well. We were really impressed with their team work, determination and perseverance. They showed super sportsmanship too.
Both of our teams won their fixture, so they did really well! Well done all!
Fountains' teams chose two players of the match for us; there was one for each team. They chose Luke from the boys team and Isabelle from the girls team. Very well played to both of you!
We hope that this becomes a more regular event, so that we can have Federation fixtures for a range of sports throughout the year.
