Pupil Voice Day
16 Sep 2022
On Thursday, we held our first ever Pupil Voice day. We took part in lots of fun activities, and thoroughly enjoyed spending the day together as a whole school.
The children worked together really effectively, and we were all very proud of them.
We launched our committees for the new school year, these are: School Council, Collective Worship Committee, Charity Committee, Reading mentors and School Sports Crew. Each of our committees have very excited and enthusiastic members who are eager to make changes and organise initiatives that will have a positive impact on our school and our wider community. We can't wait to see what they can do!
Here is the School Sports Crew...
We are also working on a very exciting project, which involves all the children and staff in school, and four colour groups! We will share more of this with you soon.

We also managed to squeeze some shared reading into the day, which was organised expertly by the Reading Mentors. It is always so lovely to see the children sharing books together and reading for pleasure. The children really enjoyed it too.
Finally, we completed the day with the 'mile a day' run. The School Sports Crew organised this for us and marked out a track for us all to run around on the school field. The older children supported the younger children to run as far as they could in the time they had. Some children did a huge amount of laps!

We are really looking forward to our next pupil voice day.
