Coronation Re-enactment and Jubilee Tea

Platinum Jubilee Celebrations
Next week we are celebrating the Queen's Platinum Jubilee at school and we have some fun activities planned.
On Thursday the 26th the older children will be re-enacting the Coronation at the Church in Grewelthorpe at 1:30pm. They have been working on this for a while, the production is coming together brilliantly and they are all very excited about it.
This will be followed by a celebratory afternoon tea at school- the children will be baking for this and it is sure to be a lovely afternoon.
All parents are invited to both the Coronation re-enactment (1:30 on the 26th) and the Afternoon Tea and we would love to see as many of you as possible there.
We would ask for a voluntary contribution of £3 for the tea.
On Friday the 27th the whole school will be taking part in various workshops.
We ask that all children wear Red, White and Blue for the day.
The children will be making a Jubilee Plate during one of the workshops, which they will take home and you will be able to keep.
We are asking for a £1 contribution for the 'Red White and Blue' Non- Uniform day which will go towards school enrichment funds and £2.50 for the keepsake Jubilee Plate.
