Easter Adventure Trail in support of FROGS
07 Apr 2022
Join us for an exciting Easter adventure with Peter Rabbit & Friends at Swinton Bivouac! Running from 10am til 4pm from 9th til 24th April.
Help Peter and Benjamin to save Easter by rescuing all of the Easter eggs from the clutches of the pesky Samuel Whiskers! Solve the clues to crack the code that will open the chest to rescue the eggs! And earn an Easter treat for yourself as well of course!
£5 per answer sheet, with each completed answer sheet earning a prize!
Explore the majestic ruins and follies of Druid's Temple (built in 1820), re-connect with nature in the beautiful woodland of Swinton Estate, take in one of the best views in Yorkshire over the Leighton reservoir, and reward yourself with a delicious treat at The Bivouac café!
All monies from the trail goes directly to FROGS Fundraising (Friends of Grewelthorpe School, Reg charity No. 1050240).
- The trail is 1.5 miles in natural woodland, and is predominantly on mountain bike routes which are unsuitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs.
- The new route avoids most muddy sections, so it should be navigable in trainers or walking boots (although it is natural woodland, so please don't wear your new white sneakers just in case!).
- Please be aware of any cyclists who may be sharing the route with you, although it is a route that is not regularly used so we would not expect much traffic!
- The trail starts and finishes at The Bivouac café, where you can buy food/drink and other refreshments after your walk. They will also be putting on some Easter craft activities for children over the Easter holidays to entertain the little ones while you enjoy a well earned coffee and cake!
