CAMPAIGN FOR CHANGE
Parliament’s Senior Education & Engagement Outreach Officer for Yorkshire & Humberside, will be working across the region to help young people develop their understanding of democracy and Parliament, and support schools in the delivery of aspects of the National Curriculum including SMSC, PSHE, Citizenship and other related subjects.
A school visit is planned for Wednesday 2nd February, the children from class 3 & 4 will gain knowledge and skills in how to campaign, looking at changes from historical campaigns and then designing their own campaign around a current issue.
This will help us in our whole-school project to develop ways to reduce our carbon footprint and be courageous advocates.
