Non-uniform day Friday 18th October

Last Thursday, it was World Mental Health Day. Following on from our ‘Mindfulness’ week last term, we again want to raise the profile of looking after our health and well-being.
Our Anti-bullying Ambassadors have been given the task of raising the profile of kindness in school and recognise that being happy is an important part of having a healthy mind.
Compass BUZZ is an exciting, new, innovative and free project that aims to improve the mental health and wellbeing of children and young people aged 5-18 in schools across North Yorkshire. In support of this project, our Anti-bullying Ambassadors have organised a non-uniform day on
Friday 18th October. All donations raised will go to Compass Buzz.
The theme of the day is ‘Random Acts of Kindness’. The children will be encouraged throughout the day to do thoughtful things for others and then we will create a display to showcase the examples of kindness we have in our school.
