Building on the work you did yesterday, use the image to write some descriptive phrases which would describe what your animal could see, hear, feel. Try and use ambitious vocabulary which helps the reader picture the image you are creating with your words;
eg Darkness engulfs me
Gone are the towering trees
with their canopies of vibrant green leaves
casting shade on the earth below.
Now, there is nothing
Nowhere to hide
Nowhere to shelter
Just a bleak darkness
