Happy Easter from FROGS!
 
Thank you for all of your support with the bake sales so far this year – we are delighted to announce that Class 3 raised the fantastic sum of £98! Mr. Gamble and the children have decided to use this money to buy an indoor tent for their reading corner, some cushions with inspirational quotes on and a digital wall clock.
We are delighted to announce that we will hold Class 4’s bake sale after Easter on Friday 25^th April - we will send a reminder nearer the time, but as always, we would be really grateful of as many cake donations as possible for the children to enjoy.
 
We hope everyone is enjoying the new playground markings – it is great to see the children all playing on them. To further enhance the outdoor areas, we are holding a ‘Playground spruce-up’ on Sunday 18^th May. We would love it if everyone/family/friends could all come together to paint/repair/plant/tidy up the whole outdoor area to give the children a smarter and more colourful area to play in.
Don’t forget to enjoy the Peter rabbit & Friends Easter Adventure Trail at Swinton Bivouac over the Easter break – running daily from 10am till 4pm 29^th March to 27^th April. Thank you for all your prize donations received so far – we would still always be grateful of any additional donations. All proceeds from this fabulous event go straight to FROGS to spend on enrichment opportunities for the children so we hope you can support this event as much as possible.
 
Keep a look out for our ‘Fund-Raisin’ initiative coming home with the children at the end of term – an opportunity for them to earn some pennies for school in return for doing jobs for family/friends/neighbours.
Next term we are hoping to use the money we’ve all raised together to revamp the library area and provide a better space for the children to enjoy their books and for small reading groups to work in.
