We have made it to the holidays, Class 3!
Just because it was the last week didn't mean that we tooks things easy though, and the children were really eager to learn like always.
We have been working on an art project this week and we have been creating pictures linked to our topic work. The class picked some famous landmarks from around the world and sketched them in the style of local artist David Harrison.
The children really enjoyed looking at the landmarks in detail and we had pictures from every continent. The children used a combination of pencils and ink to create some stunning pieces of art and the pictures transported us around the world without ever leaving Grewelthorpe.
Well done for all of your hard work this half term. We're all really proud of how well you have done. Have a great week off.
