Maths
Practice your Key Instant Recall Facts.
The Instant Recall Mission Log Book has 11 sets of Key Instant Recall Facts. They progress from Reception to Year 6. A child in Year 1 would be expected to know all the facts in 2. Launch Pad and 3. Mercury by the end of the year. A child in Year 2 would be expected to know all the previous sets of fact together with 4. Venus and some of 5. Earth by the end of the year.
Instant recall is an important part of learning mathematics and gives children a bank of knowledge from which they can draw and apply in a range of situations. Being able to work out a calculation is different to being able to instantly recall the fact (within 3 seconds).
Please can homework be returned to school by Tuesday.
