Microorganisms and plastic reports

01 Dec 2023

We have spent a lot of our English time looking at the effects plastic is having on our planet. We then used this information to create a report to educate others about the dangers we're facing due to our over reliance on it.

Editing is such an important part of our work, where we spend time together enhancing language choice, improving sentence structure as well as punctuation. Here we are supporting one another to make those changes.

We're very proud of our finished pieces and I've been impressed with their efforts and dedication. What do you think?

In our science, we've been focusing on living things, we've finished looking at animals and plants and moved on to the other living category, microorganisms; we learnt about how viruses, bacteria and fungi are all types of microorganisms and researched all about the things they're responsible for, some good, some not.

We produced our findings in our science books

Fortunately one of us happened to have a microscope at home and kindly brought it in to enable us to see some microbes up close. Here we are looking at all sorts of examples.

Have a great weekend
